Conflict and vulnerable groups
Independent organisation dedicated to the promotion ofhumanitarian principles, the prevention of conflict and the alleviation of its effects through dialogue.
Currently, the Centre works on two main sectors:
- development of regional and international policy on issues affecting conflict
- facilitation of humanitarian mediation in conflict zones
Policy research projects cover:
- conflict mediation
- civilian protection issues
- small arms proliferation
- transition and reconstruction - rule of law and justice sector reform
All project aim to stimulate new thinking on contemporary humanitarian issues and shape opinions through scholarly work.
Online resources include: descriptions of policy projects and mediation projects, related full-text papers, full-text of back issues of Small Arms and Human Security Bulletin.
