Conflict and peace keeping
Program aimed at understanding the public policy issues of the use of military, humanitarian and political forces in the conduct of multinational peace operations. Organises a series of high-level round tables, and teaches a graduate-level course. Based at the George Mason University.
Maintains a WWW site which includes: a conceptual model of peace operations; full text of POPP documents; map interface to peacekeeping missions; data from UN sources (including Security Council documents and country troop contributions [the UN DPI and UNDP servers may be more up to date]; links to other servers.
Also operates an email discussion list called Peacekeeping (see separate entry)
