Conflict and peace keeping
Research programme based at UNRISD, expanded from the peacebuilding work initiated under the pilot War-torn Societies Project (WSP). Aims to encourage actors in conflict situations to examine the interactions between peace-keeping, relief, rehabilitation and development activities. Uses participatory action research methods. WSP International works in the Horn of Africa, Guatemala, Macedonia, Mozambique, Rwanda and Somalia (Puntland, Somaliland and Mogadishu).
