Business and the environment
Part of the UNEP IE / PAC Cleaner Production Programme. Aims to increase world-wide awareness of cleaner production and to help governments and industry adopt cleaner production as a counter point to the traditional, reactive end-of-pipe pollution control approach.
Operates a question and answer service (including email) and a publishing programme.
Distributes a database is on PC diskette containing : publication abstracts, technical case studies, policy case studies and a list of expert institutions. A sample of the data from the disk (the technical case studies) is available on their WWW site. [Data was formerly available online (by direct dial/PSS): this option may now have been removed?]
