The Future Agricultures Consortium is a learning consortium which aims to encourage critical debate and policy dialogue on the future of agriculture in Africa. It is a partnership between research-based organisations in Africa and the UK.
The Consortium aims to elaborate the practical and policy challenges of establishing and sustaining pro-poor agricultural growth in Africa. Work focuses on three core themes: olicy processes, growth and social protection, and agricultural commercialisation.
The website hosts all of the research outputs of the Consortium, both full length reports and shorter briefing papers. There is a regularly updated 'hot topic' editorial, and a news and events page. There is also a debates page in which contributors are invited to write in on a particular topic of interest.
