This section within IFAD's site aims to illustrate the organisation's evolving approaches to gender and household food security, demonstrating how the approaches have developed in recent years and how they differ across regions.

IFAD recognizes that the different but complementary roles played by men and women in the productive activities that form the basis of household economies lies at the heart of good project design and implementation. This site provides access to:
