Department for International Development Health Systems Resource Centre (DFID HSRC)
The DFID Health Resource Centre (HRC) and Health Systems Resource Centre (HSRC) merged into a single resource centre in 2005. The HRC website now contains all the resources, publications, and links for both health and health systems, previously covered by the two websites.
The HSRC provided technical assistance and information to the British Government's Department for International Development (DFID) and its partners in support of pro-poor health policies, financing, systems strengthening and services. It was managed on behalf of DFID by the Institute of Health Sector Development (IHSD) (see separate entry). Assignments included health sector reviews, policy analysis, project appraisal, design and evaluation, and training programmes.
