BioMed Central is an independent publishing house providing immediate, free access to peer reviewed biomedical research. BioMed Central also supports PubMed Central and other digital repositories, as well as encouraging self-archiving by authors.
All research articles and most other content in BioMed Central’s journals are fully and rapidly peer reviewed. Online submission and peer review technology is also made available without charge to groups of scientists who wish to run open access, online journals under their own editorial control. Authors who publish original research articles in journals published by BioMed Central retain copyright over their work.
