WHOLIS

WHO Library and Literature Services (HLT) provides access to WHOLIS database, partially abstracted, of:

• WHO headquarters and regional office publications
• periodical articles
• technical and policy documents
• joint publications or WHO with other publishers and international organisations
• publications from Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), International Agency for research on Cancer (IARC), Council for International Organisations on Medical Sciences (CIOMS)

WHOLIS can be searched by word. Bi-monthly issues of WHODOC (their bulletin of new publications) can be downloaded is ascii or CDS-ISIS formats (it cannot be searched online). WHOLIS is also available as part of the LILACS CDRom produced by Bireme (see separate entry)
