Programme approaches and aid delivery mechanisms

In recent years, increasing importance has been placed on responding to the sexual health needs of young people. At the same time, programmatic emphasis has shifted from focusing on the provision of family planning towards addressing a range of sexual health needs. The use of 'counselling' has expanded beyond assisting clients in their choice of family planning methods to cover a wide range of issues, including sexual violence, sexual problems and infertility.
