The Alliance's work in Myanmar: Promoting the health and rights of people
Promoting the health and rights of people in Myanmar living with and affected by HIV
In Myanmar, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance focuses on promoting the health and rights of people living with, and most affected by, HIV. This includes men who have sex with men and female sex workers.
The Alliance supports local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs) to strengthen the country’s response to HIV. We build the capacity of civil society in preventing HIV and we also provide treatment, care and support to people living with HIV.
