Improving access to information through rural ICT channels in Bangladesh

These individual case studies illustrate the benefits that the Pallitathya Rural Information Centre has provided through various information and communication technologies channels in four districts in Bangladesh. These include:
- an gricultural information delivery service from CD content
- collecting high school examination results through the internet services
- providing legal information and advice through a helpline, using a mobile-to-mobile phone service.
All the case studies highlight the benefits gained from using the service, the main ones being the time and money saved by using ICT services at the centre.
