I'm the editor for the ICT resource guide. My particular interest is in the impact of ICTs on information flows. I'm also the prgramme manager for Eldis and am contributing to the development of our social networking website
About the guide
The guide focuses on:- The "information" component of ICTs: including local publishing, networking, virtual communities, new business ideas for information services
- ICTs and education: strategy and content issues
- Ecommerce
- E governance
- Access initiatives: telecentres, kiosks and other forms of infrastructure access organisations
- Open source: strategic perspectives
- Country studies: including e-readiness reports
- Donor-level policies: the documented policies of the major agencies and their strategic approach to the sector
