Project management and planning can be difficult at the best of times. When the project is one that involves a whole range of partners and agencies, it can be made even more so. This handbook guides the reader through a seven stage logical framework process. It takes the reader through the journey of multi-agency planning, from identifying the stakeholders to providing evidence that goals are achievable. It is intended for use by teams exploring the process of multi-agency planning.
Step by step guidance is given to enable the reader to answer the questions associated with each of the seven steps:
- how to get people involved? (stakeholder analysis)
- analysing the current situation – where are we now? (identifying problems and possibilities)
- where do we want to be? (identifying objectives)
- how do we get there? (identifying activities)
- what may stop us getting there? (risk analysis)
- how will we know if we’ve got there? (indicators)
- how do we prove it? (evidence)
