CESifo is the international platform of the University of Munich’s Center for Economic Studies (CES) and the Institute for Economic Research (Ifo). It builds bridges between theoretical and empirical economic research and between researchers from many countries, with a particular emphasis on Continental Europe.

CESifo distributes the research and service products of CES and Ifo and supports an international academic research network of nearly 500 economists from two dozen countries.

On its website CESifo offers information on its forthcoming conferences and calls for papers as well as apublications database.
