WTO and agriculture

IATP is an NGO, aiming to promote sound agriculture and trade policy by monitoring, research, education, campaigning and networking.

Focuses include: Environment and Agriculture (watershed management, indicators, ecolabelling, forest certification); Food and Agriculture (food security, NAFTA); Trade and Agriculture (WTO); Globalism and Global Governance. Also offers support/advice on campaigning/organising using electronic media.

It operates a number of electronic services including:

• (a) WWW/gopher site. Includes information on IATP programmes and publications, archives of discussion lists and links to other services
• (b) Series of regular newsletters written by IATP and distributed by email and archived on WWW/gopher sites and on APC systems. See Eldis highlights section for listing.
