id21 viewpoints
We invite you to contribute your opinion on development policy issues as they relate to your work. This is also a chance for you to share your work with id21's international audience. You can link your article to highlights featured on id21 or not, as you wish, for example:
What
to do next …
1. Decide on a topic that you would like to write about bearing in mind
that id21 users are mostly interested in policy lessons and implications.
2. Email editor@ids.ac.uk providing a) a very short description of yourself and your work and b) a 50-word summary of what your article would focus on. We would then get in touch to let you know whether your idea is suitable for id21’s audiences.
3. If accepted, we would then ask you to write a short 500 word article for id21. This would need to be policy-relevant and practical (saying what works, what doesn’t and why), interesting and informative.
4. In line with id21’s editorial style, we would advise you to write clearly in plain English, using short sentences and paragraphs given that for many id21 users, English is a second language. id21 editors will help you as necessary to get the style right prior to publication on id21.
