Become part of an exciting new cash team within Oxfam’s Global Humanitarian Team!  Oxfam is now recruiting a Cash Coordinator to lead strategically Oxfam Cash work, to provide support and advice to Oxfam programmes and teams on Cash Transfer Programming and to embed capacity in CTP in countries and regions.

 

You will join Oxfam Global Humanitarian team (GHT), a dynamic and experienced multi-sector team of specialists. As a Coordinator, you will have a global role, manage at least a global capacity builder position and 3 Humanitarian Support Personnel (HSP), and will spend maximum 20% of your time on deployment.

 

You will have a strong background in humanitarian work, and proven experience in leading strategically on organizational priorities, defining a clear vision, strategies and setting plans to ensure implementation; Knowledge and experience in cash transfer and market-based programming operations, at least three years across multiple contexts; knowledge about social protection; exposure to the use of ICT in humanitarian context; and demonstrable understanding and experience of gender equity issues. An ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and collaborate with others in a multidisciplinary team is essential.

 

As  Cash Coordinator, you will ensure the strategic leadership to ensure that Oxfam is a leading Global player in Cash Transfer Programming (CTP) and to support Oxfam to effectively implement Cash Transfer Programmes. You will represent the organisation with the wider sector, will network with key organisations and other relevant actors to exchange learning, collaborate and influence new development related to CTP to ensure a more effective and efficient humanitarian response to crises.

 

Together with the Cash, and other technical teams, you will support the assessment of support required to reinforce CTP on the field, you will promote an adequate support through different approaches and follow up trends and improvements. The Cash team will collect evidence and ensure analysis to direct Oxfam investment around CTP.
