HRMIS Implementation Support Adviser

- Based in Suva, Fiji. Some travel within Fiji may be required.
The Australian Government has established the Fiji Program Support Facility (the Facility) to implement its Education, Health and Scholarship aid programs in Fiji and its Scholarship program in Tuvalu. The Facility will also support the Civil Society Sector in Fiji and delivery of Australia’s emergency response efforts following natural disasters, as well as governance sector support when requested by the Fijian Government.
The Civil Service Reform Management Unit (CSRMU) manages and implements a range of reforms across the civil service in Fiji.
The company managing the Facility on behalf of the Australian Government, Coffey, is recruiting the position of HRMIS Implementation Support Adviser on behalf of the CSRMU. The Adviser will report to the Director CSRMU and the Director Human Resources for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MOHMS) in Fiji.
The Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS) Implementation Support Adviser will work closely with the Permanent Secretary and Director HR within the MOHMS to review the capacity of the existing HRMIS and identify opportunities for enhancements. This position will also support the review and documentation of HR and payroll business processes. The Adviser, through consultation, will develop a plan for the effective implementation of improvements to the HRMIS and provide advice on change management approaches. During the implementation, the Adviser will identify lessons learned, and will provide recommendations for the roll out of HRMIS to other Ministries in Fiji.
Are you an experienced HR professional with skills in implementing change across large, complex organisations?
The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate senior experience as a Human Resource Manager or Adviser, preferably with experience implementing HRMIS in a large, government organisation and with experience leading change management strategies. Demonstrated experience improving and documenting business processes and service delivery standards, and a good understanding of the interface between HRMIS and payroll will be required for success. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders from varying backgrounds is essential. Previous experience working in small island or Pacific countries will be highly regarded.
