Reporting to the Commercial Manager International Development (APAC) and working closely with the Finance team, this role will contribute to the financial management (from start to end) of our international development projects across Asia Pacific. The role will also require input into the development and review of operating procedures across the projects to ensure timeliness, accuracy, transparency and consistency.
The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified in Accounting, or an associated field and will preferably be CPA or CA qualified or studying towards those qualifications. You will have a sound track record of success, preferably in a commercial environment; demonstrated experience in project budgeting and forecasting and a well-developed knowledge of the principles of successful internal auditing.
Previous experience in working with or on DFAT projects and an understanding of development principles and the international development market in the Asia Pacific region will be highly advantageous.
