Making All Voices Count - Call for Proposals

21st October 2013
Making All Voices Count, a programme aimed at making governments more responsive, has announced its First Call for Proposals.

Making All Voices Count is a global initiative that supports innovation and research to enable and enhance citizen engagement and government responsiveness.

The First Call for Proposals is open from 24 September until 8 November and organisations, businesses, individuals, research institutes and governments are invited to apply.

Making All Voices Count aims to fund collaborative efforts, rather than one-sided approaches, and will award grants for the following three components:
  • Innovation: Backing innovative ideas and technology solutions
  • Scaling: Scaling successful initiatives and responses
  • Research and Evidence: Building an evidence base on what works and why
Making All Voices Count is supported by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Open Society Foundations (OSF) and Omidyar Network (ON), and is implemented by a consortium consisting of Hivos (lead organisation), the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and Ushahidi.
