In search of strategy: an agenda for applied research transitions from conflict
Research approach to peace implementation
This paper reviews the literature on post-conflict reconstruction, describes the existing policy consensus, and suggests a peace implementation framework as a way to structure research on transitions from conflict.
The authors argue for an approach to peace implementation that integrates the international implementation machinery to an analysis of social transformations, and which are grouped into two broad categories: intervention and governance and governability. [adapted from author]
