Sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS: a flip book

This flip book is intended for outreach workers and other health educators working on women's sexual health. It can be used as an aid for interpersonal communication with members of women's groups, support groups and self-help groups. It is targeted at the Alliance's programmes in various Indian states, though could easily be applied to similar settings elsewhere.

Issues are presented in an easy-to-follow form, aided with the use of illustration. Areas covered in the book include:

• knowledge about pregnancy and safe motherhood, including family planning and birth spacing
• prevention and treatment of sexually-transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV and AIDS
• information on the forms of disease transmission and related testing procedures
• menstruation and reproductive maturity.
