The Guide to Institutions Supporting Librarianship in Developing Countries is a publication of IFLA/ALP (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions/ Advancement of Librarianship in the Third World Programme), financed by DANIDA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark. The primary objective of this guide is to provide all IFLA bodies, especially the three Regional Offices and Regional Sections, and other organizations and institutions working in this field with information about where to look for funding for projects concerning librarianship, informa-tion provision and reading promotion, and to give them an idea of what to do and how.
