Voices and choices at a macro level

An interactive learning tool that is designed to support and strengthen participatory processes for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of poverty reduction strategies and other national government strategies. It is intended to provide country governments, civil society functionaries, the World Bank and the Fund staff members and other bilateral and multilateral development institutions, guidance on using participatory approaches at the macro level for poverty diagnostics, macroeconomic reform, public expenditure management and monitoring implementation of strategies and policies.

Gives users access to a collection of case studies, methods/initiatives, outputs and references on participation including contributions from participants' of the International Workshop - Choice at a Macro Level held on April 3-5, 2001.
