Les p'tits egaux' is a tool book for the promotion of equality between girls and boys aged between 5 and 9. It is an adaptation from a training programme developed by the Canadian Directorate of Public Health Montreal-Centre in 1997. Its activities show that women, just as men, can play a great role in the society. It encourages the children to question their roles as boys and girls and to experience activities usually practiced by the other "sex". The resolution of conflicts and the empowerment of girls to express themselves when they feel mistreated is also encouraged.
