Labour Policies with a Gender Perspective

Labour Policies with a Gender Perspective

This website aims to provide resources on labour rights and related issues within a Latin American context, including links to other initiatives and a database of regional gender specialists.

This is the official website of a programme jointly run by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC/CEPAL) and the German international development agency GTZ. The aims of the programme include: to strengthen the formulation of public policies that integrate gender equality concepts in employment in key economic sectors of selected countries; to promote measure that encourage gender equality in labour policies both at national and local levels in partner countries; to encourage a dialogue between the national women's machineries, the Labour Ministries and civil society organisations and networks. This website provides information and links to both regional and country initiatives, to publications and working papers. They also link to a database of gender specialists in the area.
