Changes in rainfall patterns and temperature continue to pose vulnerabilities to urban areas in Uganda. The most significant impact to Kampala is flooding due to increased rainfall. Increase in run off has made flooding the most serious threat to life, livelihoods, urban system and economy. On the other hand changes in temperature regimes have affected urban livelihoods and food security.This paper shows results from anassessment carried out with stakeholder involvement of the impacts of climate change on the City of Kampala.
