This report maps out how different actors at national, regional and city levels are already modelling the elimination of greenhouse gases (GHGs) on science-based timeframes compatible with 2ºC.

The report draws on results from over 100 scenarios that demonstrate how low or zero emissions can be reached before the second half of the century with existing technology and without harming social or economic development. There are 27 case studies which showcase work occurring in a variety of countries around the work. Full decarbonisation scenarios have been undertaken for a wide range of countries, including 16 of the world’s largest emitters.
