Finance and Admin Assistant
Duration: 24 months
Based: Nairobi, Kenya, with some travel to Turkana
Closing date: 23 October 2018
We are looking for a dynamic candidate to offer finance and administration support to our expanding Kenya programme. You will be responsible for maintaining a vibrant internal control environment for finance administration and procurement functions in our Nairobi office. This includes providing support in all programme administration and finance tasks to ensure the delivery of our project activities.
With a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 2 accreditation and a degree in a relevant subject, you will have previous experience in the NGO sector and more specifically in USAID-funded projects. You will have sound knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures and principles and their operations in a busy finance office in relation to finance and procurement. You will also have developed strong organisational skills to manage a varied team workload and meet competing deadlines.
