Become part of an exciting new cash team within Oxfam’s Global Humanitarian Team!  Oxfam is now recruiting a Cash Transfer Programming Capacity Builder to lead the development and implementation of Oxfam’s Cash Capacity Building Strategy in coordination with other technical teams, regional platforms and country programmes in order to embed and systematise CTP throughout Oxfam’s work.


You will join Oxfam Global Humanitarian team (GHT), a dynamic and experienced multi-sector team of specialists under the management of the Cash Coordinator, you will have a global role and will develop matrix relationships with regional and country teams supporting countries and, and will spend maximum 20% of your time on deployment.


You will have a humanitarian background and significant demonstrable experience in defining and implementing capacity building and learning programmes; you will have at least 3 years of experience in cash transfer and market-based programming operations, including different humanitarian settings; knowledge and experience with the use of ICT in humanitarian context; and demonstrable understanding and experience of gender equity issues.  The abilities to create relationships with multicultural teams, communicate clearly, and set up collaboration in the distance are essential for the role.


As CTP Capacity Builder you will assess needs and define the more relevant, efficient and effective approach to reinforce or create capacities to ensure quality CTP implementation. You will create and maintain internal and external networks of key stakeholders critical for the CTP capacity development agenda, including the private sector. You will represent the organisation in relevant technical forums to take stock of new developments and to ensure exchange of learning around capacity building.
