Agridiet is a research partnership between eight universities and research centres in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Ethiopia and Tanzania, led by University College Cork. The aim is to understand how agriculture impacts on the nutritional status of rural households and to identify policies, practices and interventions that can make a positive impact on nutritional status.

In addition to the usual publications and profiles the project website utilises data from Eldis on agriculture and nutrition in Africa to provide a of relavant research publications for the widely dispersed project team.

Simon Colmer of the Eldis technical development team said "This is a great example of how Open data from Eldis, accessed via our Open API, can be re-used by anyone to help meet the needs of their particular audiences. It's easy to do and we hope to see many more research programmes and networks taking advantage of Eldis data in this way."
