Following the Warsaw climate conference #cop19

Eldis tracked discussions around COP19, with a focus on looking beyond the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Using the storytelling platform Storify, we have highlighted some of the best research, resources and thinking on development and climate change relevant to the conference agenda and discussions. The Storify was updated daily throughout the event, including live coverage by our own Fatema Rajabali who was present at the event in Poland.

Transform information into climate action
Eldis Climate Change Editor Fatema Rajabali also participated in IDS/REEEP side event titled Transforming information into knowledge and climate action. Building on the Climate Knowledge Brokers (CKB) partnership, Fatema and the rest of the panel discussed how knowledge brokers like Eldis are working to address information challenges facing climate and development professionals - with a focus on four key challenges:

- Signposting the right platforms, so users don’t waste time getting lost.
- Connecting climate websites up, so data is shared effectively.
- Learning from each other, so new information initiatives don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
