Nutritional status in northern Nigeria: evidence graph

In 2012, a review of literature on the prevalence and determinants of child and maternal undernutrition in northern Nigeria, and direct and indirect interventions to tackle undernutrition, globally and in Nigeria was undertaken.  The aims of the evidence review were to:

 

The graph above is a visual depiction of the review of literature, using a tool called DebateGraph - a collaborative free-to-access application.  The aim is to increase the accessibility, availability and linkages between the current evidence base on and for undernutrition in Nigeria.

Going forward, ORIE partners and other nutrition experts in Nigeria will be encouraged to use the tool to add to and enrich the graph as new evidence on nutrition in northern Nigeria emerges, and the graph will be updated and disseminated over the ORIE project cycle and beyond.
