World Interfaith Harmony Week

With World Interfaith Harmony Week starting on February 1st this year, our Conflict and Security Editor, Jason Collodi, reflects on how religion has, in many instances, been central to global conflict.

Examples of extreme conflict are cited in this Blog, many of which can be seen within in the context of struggles for minority rights. Jason argues that perhaps the greatest positive impact that World Interfaith Harmony Week can have is to highlight the numerous faith-based peacebuilding enterprises that are exploring commonalities, building consensus and seeking solutions to violence and conflict.
