IGC is a network of subject-focused email and conferencing systems, and is itself a member of the APC network (see separate entry). It aims to serve "individuals and organisations working towards peace, environmental protection, human rights, social and economic justice, sustainable development, health and non-violent conflict resolution". A subscription is required to make full use of this service (which includes an email box and Internet access).

The IGC Network organisations are: Peacenet, Conflictnet, Econet, Labornet and Womensnet (see separate entries). Conferences (a bulletin-board style version of discussion groups) are available to all members and some are distributed to other APC organisations.
