Toxnet Databases are:
(a) Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB): see separate entry
(b) Toxic Chemical Release Inventory (TRI): information on the annual estimated releases of some 300 toxic chemicals into the environment in the USA (also available on CDROM)
(c) Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Facts (TRIFACTS): health, ecological effects, safety and handling of the 300 chemicals covered by TRI. Designed for a lay audience, in non-technical language
(d) Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS): health risk and USA regulatory data
(e) Registry of Toxic effects of Chemical Substances (RTECS): see separate entry
(f) Chemical Carcinogenesis Research Information System (CCRIS): data for some 7000 chemicals on carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, tumour production/inhibition
(g) Genetic Toxicology (Gene-Tox): genetic toxicology test results
(h) Development and Reproductive Technology (DART) / Environment Teratology Information Center (ETICBACK): bibliographical databases on teratology and developmental toxicology
(i) Environmental Mutagen Information Center (EMIC and EMICBACK): bibliographical database on chemical, biological and physical agents which have been tested for geontoxic activity.

Toxline is a bibliographical database on the toxic effects of chemical substances. Available (with subfiles) on Dialog, Datastar, STN. Manchester Host. Also available on CDROM (from Silverplatter, as Toxline and Toxline Plus (which includes extra data taken from Biosis, CAS and ASHP), and as part of their Poltox 1 CDROM.
Toxlit is a bibliographical database on toxicology, taken from Chemical Abstracts records
