IEN has undertaken 45 years of advanced research in economics and development studies as well as world economy/international economic relationships, business and enterpreneurship studies comprising consulting and training/educational activities. Institute carried out such programmes on contractual bases either by own forces independently or in coordination/co-operation with a broad range of private/government or international organizations in domestic as well as international projects

.IEN is a host institution for a couple of journals and produces a Monthly Analyses and Prognoses bulletin (contents pages of recent issues available on WWW site). Library is a depository library of the World Bank and the OECD and also holds contains a large number of publications of other international organizations including the UN, IMF, ILO, European Union etc.
