Programme initated by IDRC, and part it its Pan Asia Networking (PAN) programme.

Aims to to facilitate networking among research and policy institutions which are active in the Asian region, to assist national research institutions in identifying appropriate research agendas in relation to specific development problems in their countries.

Currently consists of working groups:

• Asian Economic and Financial Governance
• Ageing Asian Populations
• Asian Conflict Resolution
