IMEMO is a center for fundamental and applied social-economic, political and strategic research, directed at the analysis of world developments.

IMEMO combines active research activities with participation in public discussion on the major development topics. IMEMO co-operates with federal and regional government agencies, the mass media and large state-owned and private companies.
