Economic Research Institute, Far-Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Federation (ERI)

Economic Research Institute of the Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences was set up in 1976 with the goal of investigating and researching socio-economic processes of the region.

The current scientific activity of the Institute is conducted in the following the following directions:

  • transition theories and reform programs for the market mechanisms creation
  • analysis and forecasts for the social and economic development of the Far East
  • methods for analyzing socio-economic processes in the transition period
  • development of international cooperation and integration of the region into the world economy
