Centre for the Analysis of Public Policies / Centro di Analisi delle Politiche Pubbliche

CAPP (Centre for the Analysis of Public Policies) was created in December 2000. It engages in research into welfare and fiscal policies, with a special focus on their distributive effects:

  • to build and use microsimulation models for applied analysis
  • to promote the formation of interdisciplinary working groups
  • to collaborate with other institutes, in Italy and abroad, working in the same area
  • to provide advisory services to public and private organisations

CAPP is an association of researchers in Public and Labour Economics from the Economics Department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Bologna.
