Romanian The Romanian Society of Political Science (SRSP) is an independent professional organization of Romanian and international scholars teaching and researching in political science or related fields. Its main goal is to improve the environment for teaching and research in political science in Romania.

Established in 2000, Romanian Society of Political Science aims to:

• promote professional interests in relation with third parties, such as governmental and non-governmental institutions, Romanian and international funding bodies
• improve the teaching environment in faculties and higher education institutions across the country
• support research and curricula development
• support students in political science in their endeavor to acquire adequate training and skills for political research
• raise the profile of political science in the public and the media
