ORGANISATION
United Nations Information Technology Service (UNITES)
The United Nations Information Technology Service (UNITeS) is a global volunteer initiative, led by the UN Volunteers programme, that allows volunteers from any country to give their skills and time to extend the opportunities of the digital revolution to developing countries.
The site includes the knowledge base, a resource that has been prepared specifically to help volunteers working under the UNITeS initiative, and to help online volunteers supporting UNV-related projects, particularly those staffed by UNITeS onsite volunteers. However, we hope that it will help any onsite ICT volunteers, or online volunteers supporting ICT efforts in international development.
