Part of the AIT's School of Environment, Resources and Development, JACS-SEA conducts field research focusing on the improvement of environmental sanitation and mitigating highland/lowland conflicts. Its approach to sanitation involves the use of decentralized wastewater management (DEWAT) and Material Flux Analysis (MFA).
