This site is for the promotion of techniques developed under the UK Government's Department for International Development (DFID) Fisheries Management Science Programme (FMSP). It has been set up as a practical resource for organisations and individuals involved in natural resource management and development.

The website provides explanations of the principles of adaptive learning and how these principles have been executed in real field settings. Amongst other things, there are discussions of when it is appropriate, potential problems, and what skills and/or resources are required. It also outlines how the full participation of all stakeholders can be encouraged by facilitating and enhancing communication at all levels and increasing the learning of all involved.
