    This study analyses the design of an Environmental Service Incentives System (SISA, in Portuguese), which includes a programme for REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation), in the Brazilian state of Acre. Formally known as Environmental Service Incentives for Carbon (or ISA Carbon), this programme represents one of the first public policies for REDD+.

One CCIAM project is looking into how NTFPs as part of peoples´ livelihood strategy is connected to climate change, so that this information can be spread and forest dependent people can more easily adapt to the effects of climate change.
