    Red Cross survey: awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS

    This survey from the Red Cross was carried out in Great Britain, Ethiopia, South Africa and Kyrgyzstan to assess people’s awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDs. In each country 300 young people aged 14-25 were interviewed. There was great variance in responses which highlighted the need for education to remove stigma and promote protected sex.
